Day cruiser
Cruising yacht with limited accommodation below foredeck

Express cruiser
Powerboat with cabin and steering position covered or exposed

Fast commuter
High-speed hull with significant accommodation below foredeck, large cockpit and exposed steering position

Fisherman
Yacht specifically dedicated to sport-fishing trips, generally with elevated steering position. It can have full cabin or only below deck accommodation
