COLOMBO - VANTAGE 26
The attentive boater is capable of recognizing the line of a
Colombo motor yacht even at a distance. In the case of this 26
footer tested on Lake Como, near the Menaggio-based yard, the
design and typical traits of the Giacomo Colombo boats are even
more distinctive.
The Vantage 26, fitted with a powerful 330-hp
gasoline Mercruiser stern drive, gripped the water and
progressively and smoothly reached the top speed of 42 knots. The
boat, with two forward berths and electrical toilet, was designed
to offer great emotions and comfortable on-board living for short
cruises along the coast. Attention to detail is exceptional from
molding to assembly line and finishing phase.
Main structural supports, gel coat quality, burl wood details, suede-like lining,
extraordinary paddings and several ergonomic solutions (e.g.
wooden grabrails fitted in the molding) complement the character
of this fast-commuter designed for boaters who like discretion and
are fascinated by quality.
