DALLA PIETÀ SETTANTA
The Dalla Pietà shipyard represents, with no doubts, a
heritage of tradition and of technology applied to pleasure motor
yachting. The reasons that lay behind an innovative and unique
choice of product, a sort of bridge that links modern design to
future yachting may be easily understood if one considers pure
workmanship combined with top-quality components for hull,
transmission, propulsion and outside and interior layout.
The emotion one feels when sailing the Dalla Pietà Settanta
is unique as unique is this elegant motor yacht. She was launched
during a fascinating ceremony, held on July 18th in the magnificent
setting of the Venice-based dockyard during the Redeemer's Feast -
symbols and hints reveal the Venetian roots of the yard and its
fondness for this town.
The Dalla Pietà Settanta is the first of a series of yachts
in the 65 through 100 feet range that may be built to the Owner's
requests as far as interior and on deck layout, subdivision and
habitability, propulsion and transmission are concerned.
The new Dalla Pietà range may be considered as a "continuous line"
connecting the Owner, the designer and the yard in order to
customize each yacht and make her unique. Size, habitability
solutions, outside lines and any other details are chosen in order
to turn each yacht a unique top-quality object of desire.
Naturally, the successful construction characteristics typical of
the yard do not change, on the contrary, the Dalla Pietà
Settanta that we tested complies with them.
The outside line reveals a special attention to the creation of
light topsides in relation to the superstructures. Outside, the
successful characteristics of the Settanta are low and swift
flying bridge, side windows on two levels and extremely raked bow.
Inside, the yacht features top-quality wooden details of different
species depending on the area of the boat and a superb layout
offering excellent habitability and privacy. The yacht's finishing
and fittings are elegant and practical. The most convincing and
striking feature of the Dalla Pietà Settanta is felt by
getting on board and going out to sea: the typical and beautiful
trim of Dalla Pietà boats is revealed in all its potency
and reliability.
Excellent performances with reduced fuel consumption and perfect
maneuverability combined with the perfect aesthetics of the swift
and dry topsides distinguish this racehorse, the firstborn of a
family that will have many "unique" sons.
