SCIALLINO 25
The Sciallino yard has achieved a long experience in building
fishing and pleasure boats. Siallino's "gozzo", a typical Ligurian
boat, has proved its quality and reliability over the last thirty
years. The Ceriale (Italy) based yard is always busy to satisfy
the countless requests commissioned from international customers.
More of fifteen boats were under construction when we arrived for
the sea trail. The idea of mixing tradition with modern technology
is one of the reasons of this commercial success; this philosophy
has led to extremely seaworthy boats, as the Siallino 25. The boat
feature a fiberglass structure with teak deck and mahogany
toerail. Two VM inboard turbocharged diesel engines, delivering
140 hp each, provides the required power. The shaft line feature a
three blades bronze propeller, manufactured by Radice, ensuring a
top speed of 25 knots and a cruise speed of 21 knots.
The Sciallino 25 is a displacement boat with a round keel hull with
stern flat-wing, which improve the hydrodynamic lift. The boat has
been designed and built to ensure the maximum comfort in all
weather conditions, and will be appreciated by those seamen who
sail all year round and ask for a safe and reliable craft. The
deck is fitted with aluminum handrails, large non-skid surfaces
and a well dimensioned bulwark. These details indicate a
professional boat, built to be at sea with experienced boaters.
The boat is, also, particularly suitable for fishing, thanks to
its spacious cockpit, the wide side walkways, the live wells and
the stern second steering station. The cabin, on the other hand,
provides comfortable accommodation for cruising, ensuring a
relaxing holiday. The Sciallino 25 is, in fact, fitted with all
modern comforts and accessories, such as the swimming platform.
The Sciallino yard manufacture 14 different types of "Gozzo" with
a range from 3.80 to 12 meters LOA.
