VERGAPLAST - DELFINO 520

The Delfino 520 is the new-born leader of the series of outboard open powerboats and small semi-planing boats manufactured by VergaPlast. We tested the Delfino 520 during its RINA certification. It is a versatile open craft, which is absolutely unsinkable as it is injected with closed-cell polyurethane foam; and we believe it to be the ideal co!mpanion for people who appreciate the classic design in an open powerboat and who wish to navigate with no hassle, have ample space and, most of all, with high safety standards. Powered with a Silva 25HP (489 cc) outboard engine, the Delfino 520 showed the dynamism and the seaworthiness we imagined, reaching considerable speed (25 knots) even with three people on board with more than satisfactory sea qualities. Quick in manouvering, the Delfino 520 meets the seas both safely and with a good degree of comfort thanks to its V-shaped hull, the high freeboards and the design of the semi-planing hull, effective even in displacement navigation.

Characteristic of this boat is the wide spaces: the sundeck accomodates three people, and the aft area features U-shaped benches and lockers and a transformable central dinette with backrests. Optional equiment include a complete set of cushions, awning, swimladder and a variety of accessories that complem!ent this family-oriented craft, which approaches the market at a very interesting price. State-of-the- art high polymers manufaturing technology make these open powerboats the crafts of the future.
