It goes by the name of Vilanova Grand Ma rina. The complex project has been carefully pieced together with the view of offering large boat owners and crews everything they may re quire during the summer and win ter seasons. Practically speaking the harbour has been built as part of a global project involving the sur rounding areas as well which host a large shipyard capable of car rying out important work on large units thanks to specifi c equipment and gear. An apartment building for crews or guests staying short periods is situated just a few min utes drive from Barcelona city and the international airport which is equipped with a separate terminal specifi cally for private fl ights. The Vilanova Grand Marina also offers easy access to the modern overland road network, as well as to the high speed railway system connecting to Madrid and Zaragoza in a short time. A heliport is also situated near the mooring area for those wishing to take advantage of the convenience. As for some of the actual structural details the depth of the waters range form fi ve to seven metres. As many as 76 boats ranging from 20 to 60 metres can berth and enjoy services like digitally operated electric power columns offering as many as 400amps, decalcifi ed water at one's mooring, Sat. television, telephone and internet.
