The French boatyard Guy Couach, specialised in the production of maxi yachts and craft intended for military and civil use, presents its new 2800 Long Range Motor Yacht. This is a yacht built for boat owners who intend to embark on challenging voyages, in which range and safety are fundamental elements. Guy Couach's 2800 is able to navigate at a maximum velocity of 29 knots and can maintain a cruising speed of 22 knots at full load, also for prolonged periods. The hull is made with composite material and biaxial glass fibre, combined with hybrid kevlar/glass fibre, polyester resin and a balsa wood core. Considering its intended use, that is, long distance cruises, the 2800 Long Range Motor Yacht has a fuel tank of 20,000- litre capacity, thanks to which the range is appropriate to the capabilities offered by the hull. The motorizations available are 2x1,300 HP or 2x1,500 HP MTU, the overall length is 28.00 m. and the maximum width is 6.60 m.; the maximum draught is 1.60 m. and the displacement is 83,000 Kg at full load. The sleeping area is arranged with the boat owner's stateroom at the centre of the boat and at full-width, and two twin-bed staterooms with single beds and a double stateroom at the bow, this latter also at full-width, and all with their own private bathroom. The living areas for the crew are positioned at the bow and have their own access and reserved bathroom. The boat's daytime area is situated on the main deck and is divided into a living area accessible from the cockpit, a dining area and galley at the bow, a control station to port, and to starboard another area dedicated to relaxation with a sofa and table making it possible to enjoy the navigation next to the pilot. At the extreme stern is a wide small bridge on which the main tender is placed; at the bow, on the other hand, is the area for the service tender. The fly, besides being well sheltered from the wind, thanks to the form of the structures and the wind shield, contains a living area equipped with sofas, table, mobile bar, barbecue, sundeck and lots of space, a real terrace at sea. The 2800 Long Rang Motor Yacht and the other models produced by the French boatyard Guy Couach are imported to Italy by Lotti Yachting; Porto Lotti; 19100 La Spezia (SP); tel. 0187 532204; fax: 0187 532245; web site; e mail
