A new arrival from Ferdinando Amerio's Permare Group, specialised in the building of superyachts. The shipyard has launched the "Amer 106'" project, a motoryacht designed by the Verme Studio. Built entirely of fibreglass, the Amer 106'" has a particularly sporty design, emphasising the concept of power which the shipyard and the designer specifically wanted. The side view of this motoryacht shows aggressive and yet graceful lines. Particularly noticeable are the shape of the stern superstructure, the rollbar for the antennas and instrumentation, and the large windows, which provide appropriate illumination for the interior. As far as the furnishings are concerned, attention was first paid to satisfying the requirements of the first American owner, who wanted to use his "Amer" also for charters. Later, different layouts were designed, such as the "standard" four-cabin version and a five- cabin version. The standard version features four cabins on the lower deck.

The rather unique characteristic of this layout is that the owner's suite and the VIP suite are furnished practically identically. The former, located astern, has a large, central double bed, relaxation area, office corner, dressing room and private bathroom. The VIP cabin, located forward, is essentially identical. Between the two suites, we find the two twin cabins reserved for guests. Both have two separate beds on floor level and private bathrooms. Far forward, the crew quarters, consisting of two cabins, accommodating a total of three people. Within the superstructure, the main deck has a separate galley area forward, adjacent dining area, a relaxation area, daytime bathroom and large saloon. The latter has two sofas with cocktail tables, opposite each other along the bulkheads. Out on deck, we find another dining area in the cockpit, an area which can be reached from the stern platform, where the access to the hangar is also located. In the standard version, the motorization produces a maximum power of 4600 HP.
