CODECASA 41S - 50S

The Viareggio based shipyard Codecasa has announced several interesting new ideas; quite recently in fact it presented projects for two super-yachts designed by André Bacigalupo. These models are the 41s and the 50s. The first is a 41-metre planing coupé that picks up on the sporting lines of the Codecasa 35 "Maria Carla". The structure is again in aluminium, the material traditionally preferred by the yard and motorization is entrusted to two 3,700 HP MTUs, coupled with Kamewa 80 s II engines. This solution means the 41s can reach 34 knots maximum speed and 30 cruising, impressive performance for a super-yacht of this size. The configuration developed for this boat's interiors proposes an owner's suite, a VIP cabin and two twin bed cabins, while the crew's quarters include a cabin for the skipper and four berths in two separate rooms for the sailors. The Codecasa 50s also has sporting characteristics, again in this case highlighted by the MTU-Jet Kamewa combination. The considerable size of the 50s has resulted in roomy, light filled interiors with numerous cabins offering comfortable accommodation for both the owner and his guests. Compared to the smaller 41s, the 50s offers an extra double suite and a third crew cabin with two beds. Performance levels are ever so slighter lower than the smaller model but the strong point of this motor-yacht is definitely its autonomy at cruising speed, which means that any kind of crossing can be undertaken in complete safety.
