AZZURRO SHIPYARD, 25 METRE SHIP
Following 46 years in business, Giordano Rosati's Azzurro Shipyard,
specialised in small custom built ships in wood, has implemented production of
a new series of superyachts designed in collaboration with professionals in
the yacht design sector. The first vessel resulting from this new building
philosophy dates to 2003 when Azzurro launched "Brilla & Billy" for a well
known singer. 25 metres long, the ship is developed on three decks and also
follows the new direction, featuring modern and balanced design. Another
singular feature is the furniture - both interior and exterior - and the
floors which are all in teak. On the lower deck are the areas for guests and
crew. The latter's quarters forward have two bunks and a bathroom.
There are three guest cabins, one of them VIP and the others with twin beds and private
bathrooms with marble surfaces and brass fittings. The owner's suite is in the
forward area of the main deck and enjoys a panoramic view over the sea. There
is a double bed, multimedia furniture item with retractable TV, dressing table
corner and access to the private bathroom. The galley is on the same deck,
equipped with fridge, freezer, oven, electric hotplates, sink and dishwasher.
Then there is the dining area which seats eight, and the saloon with a C-
shaped sofa, cocktail table, fridge/icemaker compartment and furniture item
with retractable LCD TV. Externally the deck offers liveable spaces both in
the cockpit, where a further dining area may be set up and where there is a
three-seater sofa. The upper deck has a covered area housing the bridge, whose
cockpit in walnut incorporates all the instrumentation necessary for demanding
cruises, and a dinette. On the flying bridge, cushions for sunbathing and the
area for the tender and davits.
