OCEANCO Y-702 82M Luxury mega yacht
Nuvolari & Lenard designers developed the project for the new
superyacht that Oceanco plans to launch around the summer of2007. It
is a sophisticated project that covers four bridges, where luxury and
comfort, dictated by the maximum technological expression available,
rule. In order to create this yacht, extremely interesting ideas were
put forward, like, for example, the glass lift and the covered
swimming pool. A great deal of emphasis was placed on living space,
both inside and out. Inside, there are numerous areas set aside for
relaxing in and co-habitation, including a cabin with grand piano.
The owner actually has an entire bridge set aside for himself,
including a suite at bow with sea view, double dressing room, large
bathroom with Jacuzzi, an office with bathroom; this can be
transformed into a Vip cabin if need be. Then there are: a vast
internal lounge, external area for relaxing in at stern and one at bow
with a round Jacuzzi.
Another Jacuzzi can be found on the fly, where there is an area set
aside for the gym, the full beam control room and the captain's cabin.
The latter is only one of 27 crew members, who have 15 cabins set
aside for them, divided between sailors and officers.
The hangar at stern is also worth a mention; it is so vast that it can
house two different size Ribs, a pair of jet skis and a runabout,
typically found on a yacht of this size. The external design is a
clear example of grandeur, elegance and modernity all wrapped into
one. The design of the superstructure is also very important: there
the bridges come together with continuity, broken up only by the large
windows, that provide the right light for inside.
