GIANNESCHI PUMPS AND BLOWERS
The company Gianneschi Pumps and Blowers, has been working in
Camaiore (LU) since 1969. Thanks to the close proximity of some
historical yachting shipyards such as those in Viareggio, it has,
over time, had occasion to diversify its production and offer a
range of up to date technical accessories. The company specialises
in the production of pumps, autoclaves, fans, motor pumps,
boilers, shutters, DC motors and superchargers. All these
products stem from the experience of the owner who has been behind
the company's fortunes right from the start, as well as from the
continual research activity that has had a fresh input in recent
years since the owner's sons joined the business. It is by no
means accidental that a laboratory for engineering research was
set up within the company by Cristiano Gianneschi, who handles the
technical-systems sector alongside his brother Alessandro who
deals with marketing. The laboratory was also used for studies
carried out by the University of Pisa, because it is fitted with
systems and apparatus that allow them to test company products in
minute detail as well as develop new options. Thanks to suitable
equipment in the production areas, the company carries out highly
complex sets of tests on each product to be launched on the
market; these tests are part of an extremely accurate quality
control system. Gianneschi Pumps and Blowers follow this process
on each individual item produced, whether they are for super-
yachts or for small boats. Finding themselves faced with meeting
the needs of shipyards involved in the construction of important
boats, the Tuscan company has developed numerous products
specifically dedicated to this kind of yachts: large fans, bilge
pumps with twin engines and adequate flow for large volume hulls
and other systems for treating the waters or electrical motors,
that make reliability their strong point. Everyone in the company
has a specific role and everything is arranged to ensure a
rational management of bulk material and the products being
manufactured.
One example of this, is that Gianneschi Pumps and Blowers has a completely automatic warehouse management system capable of providing the materials needed on demand quickly and in particular, keeping the books on each thing used; this allows management to rationally deal with supplies. We should also point out that the materials used by the company are exclusively top quality raw materials, something that allows them to provide extensive forms of guarantee together with the production test systems. Thanks to this specificity the company has managed to break into 20 different markets world-wide and this is why it has a vast service network.
