The 83' is the latest addition to the Velvet open family developed by the Italian shipyard, Tecnomar. The design of this yacht has incorporated the stylistic features so dear to this shipyard, maintaining the family feeling with recent production. Aesthetically, we have an imposing hull with high freeboard and fair line superstructure, whose transversal size is fairly contained compared to the hull's maximum beam. This option determines wide side passages that are well protected from high bulwarks, further embellished by a carefully selected guardrail. The deck tread level is entirely covered in teak, from the bow, where we can find sunbathing cushions built-in to the superstructure, to the cockpit, fitted with a vast central sunbathing area whose fore area acts as a sofa for the external dinette. The shipyard has created a sunshade for this area that can be wound up, and that when open, provides some shade for the cockpit, while when rolled up, goes back into its hold inside the deckhouse roof. Two stairways on the side of the transom, are lit with in-built spotlights that at night add to the overall pleasant spectacular appearance. The platform offers a vast area for bathing activities and to make it easier to launch and tow the tender, found in the hangar located inside the transom. The interiors offer luxurious sought-after furnishings, created in very bright open plan surroundings. The lounge on deck is furnished with an elegant "L" shaped sofa on port side, accompanied by a pouffe and two armchairs of the same design. Heading towards bow, one comes to the wheelhouse, created at the centre and made up of a structure that holds the instruments, accompanied by a comfortable armchair for the driver. The second lounge, found on the lower bridge, has an "L" shaped sofa with low table. The latter has been created with the same principles applied to the rest of the furnishings and to the galley that interconnects with the lounge. Going down a few steps towards stern, you come to the sleeping quarters, that include two guest cabins with twin beds, each with its own bathroom, and a full beam Vip suite with wardrobe and bathroom, complete with sanitary ware, sink and separate shower cabinet. At the extreme fore area, we find the area set aside for the crew, accessible only from the deck and fitted with two bunks and one bathroom.
