Inside the Codecasa shipyard in Viareggio work has begun on the first example of a new series called 41S. The super yacht under construction is commanding cosiderable public attention because of its particular type of propulsion. The 41S will be propelled in fact by three 2.400HP MTU 16V 2000 M93 engines coupled to two KA.ME.WA. 71 S II water jets boosted by a KA.ME.WA 56 B II. This combination will allow the light displacement super yacht of only 160.000 Kilos to reach the considerable speed of 34 knots. The motor yacht is designed nonetheless to negotiate exacting cruises with a fuel range of 450 nm. at a cruising speed of 30 knots.

The interiors are naturally designed to offer maximum comfort. Sleeping quarters are distributed along the lower deck and comprehend: the owner's master cabin at a-midships extending over the full beam, which has a walk in dressing room, bathroom with a double basin, a w.c. and a separate shower room, two guest cabins each with separate beds and private bathroom and at the end of the bows a generous VIP cabin with a double bed. The crew has separate quarters at the stern including the captain's cabin and two others, to host a crew of four. Below the main deck there is a double saloon, a bar, the dining area and wheel house whereas externally, at the bow there is a large sun bathing area a "C" shaped sitting area with two tables. At the yacht's stern, instead, there are two "L" shaped sofas, a central sunbathing area and a table. The exterior design has a typical elegant and decidedly sporty Codecasa look by Andrè Bacigalupo.
