Fincantieri and Benetti joined forces in 2004 to build, as of the concept phase very large Hi - Tech superbly styled super yachts which until then were a prerogative only of U..S. and Northern European shipyards. This idea jelled thanks to Azimut-Benetti Group's experience in super yachts and to Fincantieri's technical and technological know how. As a result of the agreement, while waiting for future owners to express their interest, some interesting projects have already been proposed to the general public. "Morpheus," a 115 metre ship of six decks designed by Tim Heywood, is among these. The exterior design is very intricate and the solutions offered for the interiors are on the par of the highest expectations for yachts of these dimensions. The lower and main decks are reserved for the crew's quarters, cabins and excercise areas capable of hosting a total of 42 seamen plus other 5 staff members. Along the lower deck there are also some guest cabins including two master cabins and 4 real rooms in the intended sense of the word with separated beds and each one with its own bathroom facilities. On this deck there are areas in common too such as a beauty parlour, a gym, and diving platforms usable in lieu of a beach or to step into one of the numerous boats on board. On the main deck there are other areas in common and namely the dining area, the saloon area and two "Royal Suites" for guests of honour. Out in the open "Morpheus" has a large stern area ideal for parties and berthing dinghies. To the sides of the structure there are sections that may be opened into terraces overlooking the sea. The fourth deck at the bows, hosts the wheel house, service rooms and the captain's double cabin, from there going aft there is a small and large saloon with a bar, numerous armchairs and a sofa.

At the stern of it there is a "pool area" with a 9.50 metre pool with an annexed water fall coming from the deck above. This area is furnished with all the necessary amenities and has a shade zone thanks to the deck above towering over part of it. Aft of it there are two platforms for two more boats and a Helipad. The fifth deck is exclusively reserved for the owner At the bow end there is an enormous master cabin with an ensuite bathroom and jacuzzi as well as a dressing room. From the owner's cabin there is a direct access to a sun bathing area, aft of which, there is a large furnished saloon with bar and piano. Further aft there is another vast sun bathing area with two bars a projector and a screen. The sixth deck has two external areas and an internal one. Externally astern, there is another sun bathing area with a circular jacuzzi and another Helipad for the owner's use whereas a lounge and lobby are to be found inside.
