BOMBARDIER SEA DOO 3D DI
The use of agile, handy and fast water crafts as a replacement of traditional dinghies is becoming a consolidated habit. Super yachts set the trend thanks to their inclination to use different types of tenders. Water crafts have thus become the alternative, to be used with the same ease as with scooters on two wheels and it is hoped, with the same sense of responsibility. The leading world producer of small vehicles for use over sea, snow, cross country and race tracks, is the American Co. Sea Doo which has a unique range of water crafts in continuous technological development. 2006 began with Sea Doo's presentation of the latest sports model, the 3D DI with its ingenious mechanism which allows the driver to sit according to the desired position and intended use. The choice is his, whether it's to steer it as a motorbike with a long two-seater saddle, drive it in a bucket seat as if it were a Go-kart or knee drive it on one's knees, indeed all of this is possible and lastly in the "Shoq Vert" position standing up with a direct shock absorbing handlebar. Sea Doo, part of the Bombardier Group a front runner in the research and development of low polluting emissions, is also concentrated on the ecological aspects of the two stroke Rotax 130 hp injection engine which propels the aft hydrojet water craft very efficiently. Important features of this model, as in all of the 2006, series are its safety factors and control systems. The power limitator is certainly a must for beginners, as is the electronic anti theft device. The Otas electronic control system proves highly useful in brisk changes of direction, ensuring hydrojet high efficiency even when power is abruptly reduced to the minimum, while the drive shaft with crowned spline design maintains engine and pump alignment at all operating speeds.
