YAMAHA FX HO CRUISER
The similarity between the styling of the best watercrafts and
the futuristic land scooters has become such that it is
difficult to determine which of the two sectors is setting the
trend in terms of design. Critique becomes impossible when the
subject matter regards the products of a large motor company
that excels in both fields. So here comes Yamaha's latest model.
A "Grand Touring" watercraft that not only wants to be used as a
tender between a yacht and land but also for fast excursions at
sea of noteable range. The large saddle with two comfortable in
built back rests is for three riders, unlike the basic model
which resembles more to a motorbike's saddle. Storage
compartments and an ice cabinet have been worked into the
watercraft's strata allowing for a pleasant trip and a longer
one too, thanks to its 70 litre fuel tank.

The FX model has the
most powerful engine of the series with its Yamaha HO (high
output) 4 stroke 160 HP engine. Its unbelievable thrust,
together with a well balanced power-to-weight ratio give it top
performance even when towing a skier. To tame these
characteristics it has a remote control with which one may
simply switch the engine's power from expert driver to beginner
and vice-versa. The same remote control has an in built shut off
device which prevents anyone without it from starting up.
