The Tuscan shipyard Codecasa's construction F70 is scheduled for launching in spring 2008, a 51 metre motoryacht created with the by now usual contribution from architects Franco and Anna Maria Della Role. Their unmistakable style is immediately evident in the external line of this 51, whose design is faithful to the most recent Codecasa production. The interiors were also designed in synergy with the Della Roles who developed a layout to sleep a total of twelve. The five guest cabins, all double of course, are distributed along the lower deck together with the crew's quarters, while the owner's suite is forward on the main deck and extends the whole breadth of the beam. Some of the shared zones are also on this deck, such as the dining area and the saloon, the latter complete with latest generation hi-tech multimedia systems. Along the upper deck the aluminium superstructure houses the bridge, developed full beam, which is well furnished with accessories and is in direct communication with the captain's cabin. Farther aft there's another saloon, while the aft extension of this deck, like the sundeck, is equipped for open air activities. Powered by two 2.447 HP Caterpillar engines, the Codecasa 51 has a maximum speed of 17.5 knots and a cruising speed of 14. The range at cruising speed is 4.000 nautical miles.
