Port Lucaya Marina

The Grand Bahamas Yacht Club has recently bought the marina of Port Lucaya to attract super yachts on course for the homonymous Island. Every year numerous ves sels head for the Grand Bahamas to enjoy the beauty of its nature and the many tourist attractions. Among the many marinas on the island, the most renown is the one of Port Lucaya which hosts 115 berths. The acquisition by the owners of the luxurious Grand Baha mas Yacht Club, foresees its modernization and an increase in the number of berths to a total of 300 as well as the building of as many luxury apartments on its water edge. Adjacent to the marina there are many tourist attractions such as restaurants, a market, service agencies and everything that anyone may require if in transit for just a night, or on holiday for a longer period. The marina's location is strategic for whomever wishes to live on board one's yacht, alternating seasons in the Mediterranean or in the Caribbean. Today, thanks to the structural increases and to the marina's general refurbishment, super yacht owners will be able to find on the Grand Bahamas a landing place of extreme comfort. In light of this prospective, the demand for which is destined to grow, the management in charge of the development of Port Lucaya's marina has envis aged the creation of a number of services specially dedicated to this type of client thus ensuring a totally relaxing hospitable stay. Technical services for any req uisite will of course also be on supply and the marina's management indicate that the sector's experts are already being recruited. The construction of residential lodgings on the waterfront, joined to the restructured area hosting super yachts, is bound to make this marina on the Grand Bahamas a focal point capable of intercepting a large part of the sea goers heading for the Caribbean Islands.
