VSY 62M MOTORYACHT

VSY 62 M Motoryacht

VSY shipyards, based in Viareggio and specialised in the building of super yachts has designed in collaboration with the architect Espen Oeino a 62 metre displacing motor yacht whose construction is underway. The yacht is made to fulfil all of the most renown international registrars' requirements as for example the American Bureau of Sipping (ABS) as well as the Italian RINA. Worthy of note is the fact that VSY will also have the necessary specifics to obtain the "Green Star" certificate which is released only to those vessels that respect anti pollution essentials. The Super Yacht is being developed for chartering and the interior layout is set out for such purposes with the guest cabins separated completely from the crew's quarters. The crew in fact will be allocated to the bows of the yacht's lower deck in eight cabins, with annexed bathrooms, for a total of sixteen people. Crew members also have a small saloon at their disposal as well as their own galley. In the central area there are two guest cabins with en-suites complete of a hydro massage bathtub, namely, a "Vip" one and the other with separate berths which may, though, be converted into a double bed cabin if need be. The remaining suites for the guests are along the main deck at full beam of the bow area. The stateroom, with a panoramic view, is at the end of the bows, furnished with a bed piece at the centre, corners for relaxing in, a desk, two walk in wardrobes and two en-suites. Passed the three "Vip" guest suites towards the stern, the areas in common include the main saloon, the dinning area and bar. On its outside there is an open air living room with a "C" shaped sofa, coffee table and small deck chairs. The space on the upper deck is also well divided by closed and open areas in common. The wheelhouse is at the bows annexed to the captain's cabin and two offices, respectively, for the owner and crew. At the stern a saloon with cocktail tables completes the picture. The external extension of the deck, astern, allows for a table to be stretched out over it for dinning requirements as well as for small armchairs and tables. The superstructure's circumference leads to two hangers for the same number of tenders and to ample space for docking manoeuvres. The top deck foresees three distinct areas for: a swimming pool and bar, at the bows, a gym in a central covered section and a heli- pad at the stern. A lift connects the decks and the two "garages" for the two landing crafts.
